Work location: Perth based - Fortescue's Redcliffe office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people. Roster: 5/2 Roster (Mon to Fri) In support of Fortescue’s strong focus on green energy and our carbon neutrality targets, one of our key initiatives will be in our Green Fleet projects whereby we will develop and test a range of technologies to power our mining fleet. Based out our Redcliffe Offices and reporting to the Quality Manager – Green Fleet, we are presently looking for Supplier Quality Engineers.

The roles will be instrumental for the organisation’s mission of developing and deploying a World Class manufacturing & supply chain operation, playing a key role in delivering on the roadmap to industrialisation and maturing the organisation and its supply base in terms of its Quality Assurance & Zero Defects goal. Key accountabilities will include: Playing an active, leading role in the development and implementation of the Supplier Management elements of our QMS (Quality Management System) Working with the Centralised Contracts function to develop complementary and concurrent processes that work in conjunction with their existing vendor management & onboarding processes but addressing Supplier Quality Identifying target vendors for prompt assessment and improvement initiatives with priority based upon risk profile Performing Supplier…
