The Project/Role:
BP is transforming its former oil refinery in Kwinana to an integrated energy hub, where it plans to produce biofuels and renewable hydrogen. Worley is proud to be providing engineering services to the BP Kwinana Renewable Fuels Project and to contribute to a more sustainable world for a new era of renewable fuels. The Kwinana Renewable Fuels Project is one of bp’s five biofuel projects across the globe as BP aim’s to produce around 100,000 barrels of biofuels per day by 2030. Here’s your opportunity to join a purpose-driven project.
As a SQS Coordinator, you will Provide oversight and support to SQS activities consistent with criticality assessments and contractual and regulatory obligations. Also will provide support to procured packages they are assigned to ensuring that surveillance is completed in accordance technical and client specifications, codes and standards.
Responsibilities:
Notify Project Site stakeholders of quality concerns that may result in the issuance of a non-conformance report or other poor quality performance issues associated with the supplier.
Sign and date as applicable on the client / project approved Suppliers Inspection and Test Plan signifying verification and completion of specified activities with relevant inspection codes.
Timely issuance of detailed Supplier Quality Surveillance inspection and status reports. Reports are to include detailed and current information related to expected completion dates; engineering, fabrication, and material status; inspection activities; and quality concerns related to each P.O. item tag number.
Document supplier non-conformance to requirements by completing a detailed Action Item List form, and/or issuance of Worley Non-Conformance Report.
Review of Quality Surveillance documents and informing the Project Supplier Quality Surveillance Coordinator if there are any issues with documents as issued.
Perform audits of the Supplier Quality Surveillance Inspectors for compliance to the requirements of the assignment packages, Worley Quality System Manual, and the latest SOP.
Provide assistance and guidance to the Supplier Quality Surveillance Inspectors where deficiencies have been identified.
Assist and perform personnel interviews and audits of third party and contract personnel prior to Supplier Quality Surveillance inspector resource selection.
Schedule and conduct Pre-Inspection Meetings, as established by Client / Worley criticality ratings and the client / project approved Suppliers Inspection and Test Plan.
Perform random audits of E&I SQS Inspectors to ensure that they maintain, complete, and return the Inspection Assignment Folder with the client / project approved Suppliers Inspection and Test Plan off to the Project Supplier Quality Surveillance Coordinator.
About you:
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
Significant working experience in Inspection or QA/QC role is required
Strong knowledge of SQS and QA/QC activities
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Deep analytical and financial skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and logistics processes
Knowledge of SQS best practices
