Work Location: Fortescue Centre & Bennett St. Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: Monday to Friday

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst to join our team. The role will be responsible to work closely with our site and integrated operations teams to gather, review and analyse data, in order to draw suitable solutions for enhancing performance of our Supply Chain from our processing plants to Port. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving integrated process improvements across various teams, using quality and detailed data analysis, to optimise efficiency through our production Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data from various sources across the production Supply Chain
  • Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement through in-depth data analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and initiatives for optimising the production Supply Chain process
  • Utilise analytical tools and methodologies to draw conclusions and make recommendations for improvement
  • Create reports, dashboards and presentations to communicate findings and proposed solutions to stakeholders at various levels within the organisation
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track improvements and success of implemented strategies
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels to gather insights, share findings, and drive performance uplift of the production Supply Chain

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives, by using data to validate suitability and prioritise focus areas
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI and/or Python
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to draw actionable conclusions from complex datasets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels of the business
  • A deep understanding of production Supply Chain processes
