About the Role
We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our growing team at Ahrens! Working from our Adelaide or Kingsford office, SA locations and reporting to the Contracts & Procurement Manager - you will support the procurement strategy to ensure business units meet ongoing production and construction requirements. The Supply Chain Analyst will be able to assist the organisation with strategic procurement activities and develop innovative solutions across the business.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with the Groups procurement process in collaboration with the Procurement & Contracts Manager;
Maintain a product/procurement list, contract register and drawings data base and ensure these are always accurate and up-to-date;
Contribute to further development of the company’s procurement process and procedures;
Analyse and gather data on domestic and international suppliers to ensure competitive cost, product quality and delivery reliability;
Continuous research and insights on Supply Chain and industry;
An ability to review, interpret and cleanse data. Optimise data to maintain integrity and seek opportunities and insights for improvements.
Undertake all other reasonable tasks and duties within your skill and ability, as
Skills and Experience
Qualification in a relevant field (desirable).
Experience in a purchasing environment, with some time in a purchasing role in the Manufacturing and Infrastructure industries (ideal but not necessary);
Knowledge of Supply Chain processes;
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills;
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
Ability to drive procurement outcomes and collaborate with divisions to seek solutions
