WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a unique individual to join our Supply Chain team, who is diligent and detailed oriented and has the relevant experience in Production Engineering, third-party contract manufacturing management, Supply Chain and logistics.

You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Production Engineering, manufacturing management or in a Supply Chain role. You will have excellent communication skills and be a strong team player. The role will need an individual with advanced competency in SolidWorks, strong production documentation skills and ideally, experience in the design and Production of electro-mechanical devices.

Specifically, the work will include …

  • Management of Supply Chain processes to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Monitoring of inventory levels, management of logistics, and participation in mid-year and year-end stocktaking activities
  • Communication with suppliers regarding production demand, production lead-times, minimum order quantities, QA and warranty processes
  • Creating, updating and maintaining Production Engineering design drawings using SolidWorks
  • Collaborating with suppliers to troubleshoot manufacturing and Production issues
  • Conducting QA inspection on parts to ensure quality control standards are met
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

You need to be a passionate individual who is keen to deliver their work at an exceptional quality standard and attention to detail.

The role operates from our office at the Rocks, and while we support hybrid work from home options, we expect the individual to work a minimum of 3 days in the office a week.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Management or equivalent
  • 5 years experience in a Production Engineering / Supply Chain role
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and engineering design documentation standards 
  • Demonstrated communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes and logistics management
  • Exceptional attention to detail and structure in approach
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent in Mandarin - not essential but looked upon favourably
  • References will be required (at least two professional referees)
