ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about finance? We're seeking an extraordinary Part-time Accounts Payable Officer to join our team!
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Accurately code and enter invoices, process weekly payment runs, and handle reconciliations.
- Maintain electronic filing systems and manage supplier queries.
- Administer and support Prospend system users and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Assist with budgeting, month-end analysis, and continuous process improvements.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently, methodically, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate initiative.
- Tertiary education in business, finance, accounting, or commerce preferred.
- Prior experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
