About the opportunity:

As the Supply Chain Director for Australia, you will spearhead the strategic planning and execution necessary to optimise the entire Supply Chain lifecycle. 

Your pivotal role will involve overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of products and services, ensuring seamless integration from procurement to delivery. 

Your leadership will be critical in driving efficiency, innovation, and excellence across our Supply Chain operations, ultimately contributing to the success and growth in the Australian market.

In the role your primarily responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise the entire Supply Chain lifecycle, including procurement, production, distribution, and logistics.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of products and services, from raw material sourcing to final delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitor KPI's, Service Level Agreements, and metrics to evaluate Supply Chain performance, identify areas of improvement and drive operational excellence. Provide an expert contribution to the creation of an effective workplace culture which recognises and values both individual and team contributions to organisational effectiveness.

About you: 

To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience working with Defence capability development processes and Defence acquisition practices including familiarity with industry-specific regulations, compliance requirements and emerging trends.

You will bring extensive experience leading, managing, developing, and motivating holistic multi disciplinary supply management teams across multiple sites and In-depth understanding of Supply Chain principles, methodologies, and best practice.

You will have in-depth knowledge of AS4360 (Risk Management) and ISO9001 (Quality Systems).

Special Requirements: 

Applicants must be Australian Citizens and are required to hold and maintain AGSVA security clearance at the required level.
