The Opportunity

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support a world-class satellite receiving station based in Darwin, Northern Territory.

Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Specialist will perform a variety of duties, including ensuring the availability of spare parts, material requirements, sourcing material, warehouse receipt, inspection, dispatch, stocktake, and asset management. The incumbent will ensure the customer and BDA ERP systems are managed in accordance with BDA and customer logistics policies and procedures.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in procurement, Supply Chain processes, and the use of enterprise asset management and/or Supply Chain processing systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in asset and/or inventory management from procurement through disposal, including movement tracking and record keeping, stock-taking, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the use of manual handling equipment and warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge and experience with 'Chemalert' or a similar chemicals management software would be preferred, but not essential.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.

Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet Australian Government security clearance requirements and be prepared to undergo the security clearance vetting process at the POSITIVE VETTING level.
