Job Description:

Reporting to Director, Logistics & Supply Chain, you will be working closely with Senior Supply Planner to manage a large portfolio of products and be solution-oriented to build/improve efficient processes. You need to be highly analytical, flexible, action and results oriented, self-starting, and be comfortable with computer databases and tools. You should also be a team oriented, analytical, & interpretive individual with strong process and systems skills, and ability to work with multiple internal stake holders as well as with external suppliers.

What will you work on?

  • Develop and manage inventory plan for assigned products.

  • Coordinate new product and product phase out planning with the Brand Management & Sales Team.

  • Prepare Supply Agreement Meeting (SAM) analysis in support of the Sales and Operations Planning Process.

  • Manage inventory in terms of Inventory level, lead time, Turns, Days of Supply and non-performing inventory at the Finished Good and Product Family level.

  • Communicate Supply Status including Production Forecasts to key stakeholders and external vendors.

  • Work closely with manufacturing partners as well as Asia Planning team to reduce excess of raw material inventory.

  • Work closely with International and Domestic Sales Team to reduce/eliminate excess of FG.

  • Monitor and help resolve customer service related issues for assigned products in support of customers, brand manager & Sales parties.

  • Resolve shortage situations by proactively managing and monitoring inventory levels for assigned materials and material types.

  • Raise potential short or long term inventory to key stakeholders in weekly constraint review meetings.

  • Manage multiple cross functional projects alongside day to day role.


What are your skills and experience?

  • Undergraduate Degree - business, supply chain, finance background.

  • Strong administrative experience in a support role, with a customer focus and drive for results.

  • Consumer product experience in a new product-oriented industry, an asset.

  • Strong Analytical Skills and affinity for numbers: able to deal with concepts and complexity comfortably.

  • Good Problem Solving Skills: uses rigorous logic and analytical methods to trouble-shoot problems and solve business issues. Can see hidden problems and probes multiple sources for answers. Is motivated by seeking process improvement.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills: able to relate well to a variety of individuals and build relationships with internal stakeholders. Conveys information in a clear and concise manner and seeks to clarify understanding. Confident and can justify decisions made.

  • A collaborative, team player who openly shares knowledge with others and is able to influence “without authority” and effectively manage change. Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal & external customers.

  • Ability to manages multiple priorities effectively and act with a strong sense of urgency.

  • Strong self-initiative to operate independently. Displays professional confidence and a willingness to justify positions when challenged or in support of other views.

  • Proficient in MS Office tools, Advanced Excel Skills are a priority, SAP/APO/BI, MS Project, Business Objects.

  • An organized individual who lives for the deadlines.

  • A resilient and adaptable personality as plans can change from day to day.
