THE ROLE
Applications are sought from experienced Supply Chain Superintendent to join the team at Ora Banda. Reporting to the Site General Manager Operations and close interface with Commercial Manager.
  
The Supply Chain function is currently going through a Rectification and Reset Project. You will be required to work closely with the Project Manager to ensure a seamless path for the future.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

• Ensure that all activities are conducted to the highest standards of safety and compliant to current Company policies and workplace safety and environmental regulations.
• Implement measures to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment.
• Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with health and safety standards.
• Implementation of management of SCM Annual Business Plan, Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support Processing Plant and Mining operations.
• Plan and schedule and approve procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Oversee and manage critical inventory at all locations. Including but not limited to Insurance, Capital and Critical Equipment spares, Reagents, Fuel and Mill Liners.
• In conjunction with Commercial Manager source and evaluate suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
• Implement inventory control measures to reduce carrying costs and ensure adequate supplies.
• Oversee inventory levels and optimize stock levels to minimize excess or shortages.
• Manage the transporter and transportation and of materials from suppliers to mine and processing operations.
• Coordinate with logistics teams, internal and external, to optimize transportation routes and reduce costs.
• Develop and manage budgets for the supply chain department.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions with particular reference to planned shutdown requirements.
• Establish, monitor and report on agreed service performance levels with user departments.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Prepare and present regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and supply chain metrics.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:  

• Tertiary qualification in mining Supply Chain / Commercial Management
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Senior Supply Chain roles

• Procurement / Supply Agreements
• Transport and Logistics
• Inventory Management / Demand Planning
• Warehouse Management
• Analytical Reporting
• Business Planning, Polices and Procedure
• End of month Reporting and Reconciliations

• Awareness of the Western Australian WHS Act & Regulations
• Class C WA manual driver’s licence
• Minimum 7 years Pronto ERP system cross functional experience. You will be considered a Super User on all SCM functions.
