Micah Projects is a community based not-for-profit organisation with a vision to create justice and respond to injustice at the personal, social, and structural levels in church, government, business, and society. Micah Projects provides a range of Support and Advocacy services to individuals and families.


Inclusive Health Partnership Cluster is responsible for enabling vulnerable people to have access to health and social services to maximise their ability to live independently in the community. The cluster teams cover working with people who are experiencing homelessness and who are vulnerable due to their health in social housing, boarding houses, or hotels. 

Homefront is a collaboration between Micah Projects, Queensland Health’s Princess Alexandra Hospital, and primary care providers. 

The Homefront Program delivers outreach support that connects people with clinical care, community support, and housing by providing integrated care. 

Homefront is funded by Queensland Health to improve outcomes for vulnerable people with complex health needs who present frequently at the PAH Emergency Department (ED). 

How you will make a Difference:

As a Support and Advocacy Worker, you will work as part of the Homefront Team to deliver outreach services that connect people with primary health care, housing, and other community-based supports by providing integrated care.

This is a full-time, fixed term opportunity until end of June 2024, with conditions and salary at Level 4 of the SCHADS Award.


To be considered for this role, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and demonstrated experience in providing Support and case coordination to people with complex needs.

Demonstrated engagement and interpersonal skills, ability and commitment to work collaboratively within a team and a positive attitude is also essential for this position.
