About The Role
As a Support Worker you will have the responsibility of providing high quality supports to participants with a disability. Your role will be to support participants to live more independently and assist them to reach their NDIS goals. Our Support Workers also assist our participants to access our group programs, social outings and many more exciting services we offer within our organisation.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assisting participants to perform daily activities
- Providing daily personal care
- Performing home based tasks and therapy support
- Community access support such as facilitating public transport training, attending community activities, going to appointments and events
- Offering participants a varied program of social activities whilst being supported by you
- Supporting participants within our hub spaces for group programs
Qualifications & experience
- Certificate level (desirable)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
- Working With Children Certificate (at least 3 months’ validity)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
- Valid driver licence
