The Opportunity:
Based in Ringwood working with our Community Client within their homes, as a Support Worker at Claro, you will be supporting our customers with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:
- Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
- Providing support with hygiene and personal care
- Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
- Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
- Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
Shift times:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday
- 8am to 10am
*Additional shifts may be picked up in the area
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
- Experience as a Disability Support Worker
- Australian Drivers Licence (P2 minimum), reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
- NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
- Able to work a range of shifts including morning, afternoon, night (active or passive)
