What you do matters
Caring for our elders matters. You touch the lives of those you care for and their families. At the same time, you cherish small moments and celebrate life stories.
At the same time, you need a team that cares for you! Part-time, regular shifts, or flexible work hours that suit your other commitments like study, grandchildren, or school drop-offs to help you do your best - at work and at home.
In-Home/Community Care
Supporting our elders in their homes means you are one–on–one with clients. You could drop in to help with Personal Care or domestic duties in the morning or evening. Or keep clients connected to their community through activities they love - like walking, gardening, going out for a coffee or lunch, and transporting them to appointments.
A typical day includes 2-4 client visits for 1-3 hours Monday to Friday.
Why work with us?
- not–for-profit salary packaging advantages that give you more money in your pocket
- a mileage allowance when you travel between client homes
- paid training hours to build your skills
- digital devices to keep you connected and organised on the road
- potential for career growth within Benetas so that your story with us continues
- carer traineeships if you are not yet qualified

Not sure what salary packaging is? Put simply, a portion of your pay is deducted before tax to give you more take-home pay. Don’t worry, we use a salary packaging partner to guide you through this!
