We are in the business of helping people thrive.About the RoleCareSouth’s service delivery is expanding with a new program that ensures children and young people with disabilities are supported in a therapeutic environment to help them thrive. Working with the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ), the Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) model supports children and young people who are unable to be supported in foster care or require specialised and intensive supports to maintain stability in their care arrangements.As a Support Worker in an ITC model you will:
  • Support children/young people to achieve personal goals
  • Assist children/young people to build their personal resilience and navigate complex emotions and triggers
  • Support connection to family & culture
  • Encourage and aid participation in education & extracurricular activities to promote competence and stability in day-to-day life
  • Transport and daily care as required
  • Work alongside our clinical and casework team with children and young people at the forefront of all practice.
