Nurse Assist 24/7 is a dedicated and committed service provider to the disability sector. We have 7 Supported Independent Living Facilities (SIL) and provide support in Community. Our houses are based in the Rockingham area and our community footprint extends from Perth across to Bunbury.
Qualifications & experience
- Relevant work experience
- Previous experience in the health care industry
- Previous experience in supporting, driving and managing employees
- NDIS Screening Check
- First Aid Certificate
- Working With Children Check
- Covid Vaccine Certificate x2
- NDIS Orientation Module
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide help and assistance to improve participant's daily living skills
- Provide practical assistance to people while they are developing their independent living skills.
- Work with people to access services and activities in the community.
- Providing social support (shopping, banking, attending appointments, letter writing etc.), and/or with activities of daily living, hygiene (showering, toileting etc.), dressing, grooming, mobility, eating and drinking as required.
- Work as part of a team to ensure continuity and consistency of support to clients.
- Adhere to administrative procedures including data collection and maintenance of client records.
- Undertake tasks as directed by the Support Coordinator and Team Leader.
- Attend all staff meetings and training.
