These are rewarding and challenging roles that require the successful candidates to support customers with challenging behaviors, manual handling required and usage of hoists in the past. We have a variety of shifts from 6am starts, 2pm starts, 10pm starts including active overnights. Having more availability on shifts would be the ideal and preferred candidate.

Typical duties might include:
- Supporting customers to develop and maintain independence.
- Supporting customers with personal care including bowel care, manual handling using a variety of equipment and aids and other health and hygiene needs such as feeding, medication, dressing, toileting and showering.
- Undertaking various household tasks including mealtime management, cleaning, shopping and other community access activities.
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our unique customers
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with our customers and to support their individual care plans, including goals
- Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster; you will be required to work across morning, afternoon and active night shifts, including weekend and public holiday shifts
- Experience supporting customers with intellectual disability, high physical support needs and medical / health needs
- A current Driver's Licence and confidence to drive an accessible van.
- NSW Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain
- NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
