Based in the heart of Kingscliff and servicing customers in the Greater Tweed and Byron Shires, Lifebridge offers a fulfilling opportunity to support our customers in living their best lives right at home within their local communities.
As a valued member of our team, you’ll have the rewarding responsibility of:
- Providing essential domestic assistance to maintain clean and comfortable living spaces for our customers, including tasks like vacuuming, mopping and laundry services.
- Offering invaluable in-home social support, caregiver respite, meal preparation and personal care, while also facilitating community access and engagement through activities such as transportation and assistance on group outings.
- Keeping thorough and compassionate progress notes to ensure the health and well-being of our Aged Care customers, as well as their caregivers.
To excel as a Lifebridge Community Support Worker, you will need:
- Experience in Aged Care, particularly with older people with cognitive impairment.
- Certificate III in Individual Support.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others.
- A valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for transporting customers to appointments and activities.
- Mandatory clearances including Federal Police Check or NDIS Worker Check, as well as up to date First Aid certification.
- Ability to work a flexible roster, including a minimum of three days per week.
