Supported Independent Living Manager

An opportunity for an experienced SIL manager to oversee multiple properties in a senior capacity

Your new company 

Your new company is an established Disability Support and Aged Care provider with multiple operations across Queensland. With a strong emphasis on integrating compassion, flexibility and respect to their services, they are a preferred provider of the Townsville community.

Your new role 

Your new role as SIL Manger will report directly to the Managing Director of the business and work autonomously to manage a team of support workers across multiple residential properties. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Deliver support services that promote, uphold, and respect human rights and participants are enabled to exercise informed choice and control
• Assist participants to increase their independence and develop life skills in accordance with their support guidelines and goals
• Monitor and manage the ongoing NDIS plan review cycles to ensure residents achieve the best possible outcomes as part of these reviews
• Identify gaps in systems of work and service delivery and make constructive recommendations for continuous improvement
• Identify the learning needs of staff and deliver training programs in line with organisational needs

What you'll need to succeed 

In order to be successful in your application for this role, you will be an experienced community services professional who demonstrates the following characteristics: 

• Relevant experience or qualifications in Healthcare or Community & Social Services
• Understanding of the NDIS framework and the relevant legislation
• Experience supervising staff members while adhering to policies and procedures
