At The Hospital Research Foundation Group, we've had some amazing success fundraising in the community both through our life-changing Home Lottery and philanthropy activities over our proud 57-year history in South Australia. We've experienced rapid growth in the last 10 years, and now we're dialing it up another notch, expanding our impact across Australia. Across the 12 charity brands that are part of our Group, we support research, care and health services in over 50 areas of disease and illness, ranging from the most common conditions affecting our loved ones, such as cancer, heart disease, dementia and stroke, to rare and under-researched illnesses that need our urgent attention.

That's why we're searching for an energetic, purpose-driven individual to join our growing team, someone who excels at deepening supporter engagement across our Group of charities.

About you

To be successful, you will need:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience working in retention/relationship marketing activities within the fundraising industry.
  • Alternatively, the ability to transfer your customer loyalty/marketing skills acquired in other industry sectors, including corporate experience in managing membership benefits (two years minimum).
  • Experience in building and evaluating donor/user journeys, enhancing engagement and retention strategies.
  • Data-driven marketing expertise, including knowledge of segmentation, customer journey mapping, and performance analysis.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple integrated campaigns and projects simultaneously.

About the role

The role will require you to:

  • Devise and execute comprehensive strategies focused on enhancing donor loyalty and securing ongoing financial support.
  • Implement initiatives to boost revenue from donors and maximise the lifetime value of regular supporters.
  • Develop and execute targeted programs to actively engage individuals utilising our services, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Lead efforts to encourage donations from new donors and reactivate lapsing supporters.
  • Plan and conduct surveys to gather valuable insights from supporters across charity brands.
  • Continually learn and implement best practices in marketing automation to optimise donor engagement.
