Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Full-Time Surgery Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary nursing with a specific focus on surgical procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside leading veterinary specialists and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting veterinarians during surgical procedures, including preparation, monitoring, and post-operative care.
• Maintaining surgical suites and equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
• Providing support in anesthesia administration and monitoring.
• Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition.
• Providing compassionate care to patients and their families, offering education and support as needed.
• Collaborating with other members of the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary nursing role, with a focus on surgical procedures.
• Strong knowledge of surgical nursing techniques and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate attitude towards animals and their caregivers.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
