With more than 3,000 MW of renewable generation projects and firming capacity under development, we have an extensive renewable energy pipeline, with a goal of 9 to 10 GW of renewable energy and between 3 and 3.5 GW of energy storage in place by 2035.

About the role
This is a full-time permanent opportunity located in Brisbane CBD.
Sustainability at Stanwell is about placing our long-standing commitment to sustainability front and centre in the way we do business. Our sustainability and climate-related work sets out how we can have a greater positive influence, mitigate the negative impacts of our activities, and be transparent about the areas in which we have more work to do.
Key activities include:
- Help facilitate the ongoing development of Stanwell’s Sustainability Strategy.
- Work with a wide range of Stanwell people to ensure every part of our business is working to deliver on our sustainability commitments.
- Identify and assess climate-related risks and opportunities that may impact our operations, reputation, or financial performance.
- Work with specialists throughout our business to identify flagship sustainability projects and initiatives and make them happen.
About you
- Experience working for large, complex organisation, particularly in the areas of sustainability or environmental, social and governance (ESG) disciplines.
- Ability to influence internal stakeholders to support flagship sustainability projects.
- Demonstrated track record in applying structured thinking and data analysis techniques to complex problems.
- Excellent time-management, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organisational abilities.
- Knowledge and understanding of sustainability and climate-related subject matters.
