Your part in St Andrew’s War Memorial

• Answer incoming calls and transfer to appropriate areas of the hospital including communication requests for staff and doctors within the hospital.
• Answer all calls to the Code Phone and respond in accordance with the Emergency Response protocols.
• Act as the communications officer in the event of a hospital wide emergency.
• Prepare patient medical records for next day admissions.
• Complete data entry to support other departments of the hospital.
• Complete patient health fund checks and paperwork for patient transfers
• Complete chart filing to assist the medical records team.
• Other administration duties or coverage to assist the Patient Administration team
