Green Light Australia are currently seeking Switchboard Operator to join our Australian based delivery team to assist in the delivery of services into one of our technical partners.
As a Switchboard Operator, you will be responsible for managing incoming calls, transferring calls to appropriate departments, and providing information to both the general public and internal staff. Acting as a central point of contact, you will serve as a concierge for conference calls and play a vital role in updating details on internal staff members. This role requires efficient call handling, professionalism, and a proactive approach to addressing customer inquiries.
Call Handling and Transfer:
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Transfer calls to the relevant departments or individuals as per established protocols.
Concierge for Conference Calls:
- Assist in coordinating and managing conference calls for internal staff.
- Ensure seamless communication during conference calls.
Switchboard Operation:
- Operate the switchboard system to facilitate smooth call routing.
- Ensure the proper functioning of telephone equipment.
Efficient Call Management:
- Manage multiple calls daily, prioritizing and handling inquiries efficiently.
- Monitor call queues and address calls within target timeframes.
Customer Support:
- Provide excellent customer support by following up on inquiries to confirm satisfactory issue resolution.
- Maintain a professional and upbeat tone while assisting customers.
