$900 - $1100 per day Opus Recruitment Solutions are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Developer professional to join one of our key clients in Sydney on an initial contract.
As a Tableau Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing interactive data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau software. Collaborating with stakeholders, you'll translate business requirements into intuitive visualizations that drive actionable insights. You'll also play a key role in data analysis, ensuring data accuracy and optimizing performance for efficient reporting. Ideal candidates possess expertise in Tableau Desktop and Server, proficiency in SQL, and a strong understanding of data visualization best practices.
Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau Desktop.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Optimize data sources and workflows to ensure efficient performance and scalability.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating data sources and implementing quality controls.
• Customize dashboards and reports to meet specific user requirements.
• Train and support end-users in accessing and interpreting Tableau dashboards.
• Stay updated on Tableau features and best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Tableau dashboards with existing systems and databases.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on Tableau architecture, security, and deployment strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• X years of experience as a Tableau Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.
• Strong understanding of data visualization concepts and best practices.
• Experience with SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is a plus.
• Tableau certification(s) preferred.
