Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.Join us as a Synchronous Condenser Application Engineer for the Motion Business Area where you will be responsible to follow the market, , understand the trends, provide quotation and technical support and assist discussions with potential partners/customers. This position reports to the Division Manager and can be based in either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.Your responsibilities

  • Being responsible to technically support the Synchronous Condenser business, follow the market, understanding the trends, and discussing with potential partners/customers
  • Developing and following the strategy and assisting to build relationships with both potential partners and customers
  • Supporting customers during the different phases of the project lifecycle, creating quotations, supporting with technical and pricing issues
  • Participating in social media discussions, conferences, and trade shows such as for power systems, energy storage, wind, solar, mining. Follow discussions and information created by the regulator (AEMO) and TNSP´s related to grid stability and the electricity market (
  • Marketing of our products and services, as well as provide training for customers and other stakeholders
Your background
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering
  • Understanding of Grid stability requirements and competing technologies
  • Familiarity with Australian networks players and regulations
  • Experience in long term projects and relationships building with high level commercial and technical partners.
  • Experience in sales with EPCs/TNSPs. Excellent cooperation skills and interest in building relations
  • Systematic, independent, responsible, and flexible attitude to work. A customer focused attitude and possibilities to travel
  • Great communication skills
