A growing energy company is seeking a talented and experienced System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our company's computing infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation, security, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure IT systems and network security through appropriate measures, monitoring, and incident response.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and performance monitoring.
• Plan and execute backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Manage Active Directory, including user management, group policies, and access controls.
• Configure and maintain virtualization technologies like Hyper-V or VMware.
• Staying up to date on new and emerging technologies
• Practical knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, MacOS and Linux based operating
systems.
• Experience in installation, configuration and upgrading of hardware and software.
• Knowledge of Password Management Tools.
• Configuration and troubleshooting experience of audio-visual devices.
• Administration of Office 365 and providing OS desktop support (Windows 10/11)
• Optimize cloud connectivity for peak performance.
Requirements:
• 1+ Years experience working as a Desktop Support Engineer / Systems
Administrator focusing on Windows Environment.
• Proven expertise in managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 applications and services.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware.
• Experience with server and storage administration and support (Windows)
• Familiarity with cloud technology administration and support (PaaS, IaaS)
• Experience with network support and maintenance, including Wi-Fi.
• Experience in IT Security operations, including firewall rule creation.
• A good understanding of emerging technologies
• PowerShell scripting and knowledge in Linux or Ubuntu is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
