Designa Australia Pty Ltd supplies, installs and maintains parking and revenue management systems in the Asia Pacific region based on Microsoft’s Operating systems & Databases and is currently searching to fill a full time System Analyst Engineer position to support & expand its existing 130+ customer base in the region. The position is based at the Gold Coast, Queensland, and offers an annual salary of $100,000 pa.
This role includes the following key responsibilities:
- In conjunction with the Installation Lead, coordinate and manage the installation of Designa Australia’s equipment on customer sites.
- Coordinate and provide maintenance and repairs to equipment as required.
- Diagnose, analyse, and resolve system problems or faults with equipment.
- Develop support procedures and strategies for DESIGNA equipment and systems
- Provide hardware upgrades if required.
- Provide support in managing the WinOperate system software and the intercom system configuration.
- Liaise with customers in relation to installation, maintenance, and repairs of on-site equipment.
- Provide customers with on-going technical support in line with the agreed SLA’s and ensure all customer enquiries are addressed.
- Conduct OHS audits and risk assessments.
Skills and experience required for the position:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems/IT or similar
- at least 10 years of experience in ICT Systems related positions such as Software positions, Technician positions, or similar.
- at least 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or similar position.
- experience in windows environments.
- experience handling complex technical issues.
- electrical equipment installation and maintenance experience and a good understanding of different system configurations.
- testing, fault-finding and troubleshooting experience.
- knowledge of system design including networks and hardware configurations.
- strong technical aptitude.
