System Engineer / Splunk Architect

• Are you an experienced System Engineer/Splunk Architect who is comfortable working at the SFIA 4 level?
• Do you have an active Top Secret Positive Vetting Clearance? or has this clearance expired in the past 12 months?

We at compas have the perfect role for you!Our Government is seeking an experience System Engineer / Splunk Architect to join their team for a long term opportunity within a secure working environment.SFIA Skils required for this role are as follows;

• DESN 4
• PROG 4
• ASUP 4

Major Responsibilities

• Ongoing review, design, development, and continual improvement of Splunk deployment(s).
• Design, support and update documentation including standard operating procedures and detailed design documentation.
• Work with system developers to onboard new data sources – including the development of “apps” to provide automatic field extractions and event enrichment.

Key Experience required

• Demonstrated experience creating and updating technical documentation and operating procedures.
• Demonstrated experience working with virtualisation technologies.
• Demonstrated experience monitoring and actioning security alerts and incidents.
