Form of workLooking for a skilled System Administrator to join our team! As our System Administrator, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our network and systems are running smoothly and efficiently. We are looking for someone who is passionate about automation, specifically Perl and shell scripting, and is familiar with VMware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor our systems and network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and networking
- Create and maintain automation scripts using Perl and shell scripting to streamline routine tasks
- Manage and configure VMware environments, including vSphere and vCenter
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system improvements
- Ensure that our systems are secure, and perform regular security audits
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Proficiency in Perl and shell scripting for automation
- Experience with VMware, including vSphere and vCenter
- Knowledge of networking concepts, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
