Address My client is on the hunt for a talented and experienced Systems Engineer to join their team based in Osborne Park on a 12-month initial contract.
As a Systems Engineer, you will be a key player in in a team of talented engineers who demonstrate exceptional technical ability and competency, who aid in delivering critical infrastructure while maintaining a high level of performance and security.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The day-to-day life of the successful applicant will include but is not limited to the following-
- Planning, designing and installing new systems and relevant upgrades.
- Attending remote sites to provide support during the project life cycle.
- Evaluate new hardware and software to effectively make recommendations.
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency, lowering the human intervention on tasks.
To be considered for this role, the candidate will possess the following:
- Full working rights in Australia (this position offers no form of visa or PR sponsorship, for your application to be considered you must already have full working rights in Australia)
- Relevant tertiary education in Computer Science or engineering, or a related subject
- Proven experience working in installation, configuration and troubleshooting Windows and Linux environments.
- Cloud experience, preferrable in AWS or Azure
- Proven experience with virtualization, EG VMware, Nutanix
- High knowledge of Cisco Switching, Palo Alto SDWAN
