We are looking for someone with strong problem solving, analysis and customer service skills to provide and coordinate immediate response for Priority Incidents related to the Bank's Continuously Available technology services, while also performing and coordinating release deployment and patching activities. Located in our Head office at Martin place you'll be working on a weekly roster including daily and nightly shifts of 12 hours and will also have the following responsibilities:
- Perform and co-ordinate technology changes (eg. patches, software updates) to RITS, FSS and BK NPP systems
- Provide first and second level technical support with an escalation where required
- Analyse common issues and take steps to reduce or eliminate them, while adhering to IT operations policies and procedures
- Provide professional customer service, while ensuring timely resolutions
- Ensure all problems and requests are accurately recorded in the service desk system
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable working knowledge of enterprise systems management, including configuring and modifying infrastructure objects and alerting thresholds
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN environments and technologies
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking
- Knowledge of establishing, modifying and deploying Tidal automation jobs
- Previous experience in an IT technical support or operational role within a medium-large environment
- Must have history of completing tasks with minimal supervision
- Experience in implementing process improvements
- Sound experience working within a service orientated and risk adverse environment
- Experience working in and supporting financial environments
- Experience in configuring Performance Monitoring alerting thresholds
