One of Australia's prominent Federal Government departments are looking to engage a Power Platforms Developer to lead the redevelopment of an existing ASP.NET and SQL based application into a Model-Driven Power App. The successful Power Platforms Developer will be offered a 6 month contract with 6 months in extension.
The successful Power Platforms Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Migrate and transform data from SQL databases to the Power Platform, optimising the data model for enhanced performance.
- Develop complex business processes and workflows using Power Automate to streamline operations
- Configure and customise the Model-Driven Power App interface, including forms, view, and dashboards
- Establish and manage a robust release process for deploying Power Platform applications to different environments
The successful Power Platforms Developer will have experience in the following:
- Practical experience with .NET, Azure, and Microsoft Power Platform components, including Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Apps
- Experience in Dataverse, integrating data from multiple sources into Power Apps and Power BI
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end development lifecycle from inception to deployment
- Experience integrating Power Apps with external systems such as Dynamics 365 CRMs, SQL databases, and SharePoint Online
