Lynx Integrated Systems is a privately owned successful "System Integrator" company located in Balcatta WA, providing building Automation and Energy management solutions for 25 years.

We are currently recruiting a Systems Engineer to join our team.

Role

This senior position within Lynx integrated systems will require reporting to the managing director, you will be responsible for successful deployment of our technical solutions, maintaining existing customer base and working with the wider team. With a focus on high quality delivery, your role will consist of high-level customer relationship, engineering, technical commissioning, hands-on delivery, training, and support.

The role is diverse so you will need to be adaptable to different tasks while being responsible for delivery of our solutions, working with staff and being hands-on. Being creative in your approach and can communicate with clients at all levels of the decision-making chain, both written & verbally. While delivering solutions on time and budget.

You will be an expert in technology and project delivery aspects from customer service, technical knowledge, multitasking, systems hand over, client training, relationship building.

Duties Include –

Your key responsibilities will encompass the following:

• Engineering, programming and delivery of control and monitoring Systems
• Control and monitoring Systems maintenance and commissioning
• Provided technical assistance to the wider team.
• Assist in designing new and updating existing solutions.
• Deployment of projects and service solutions.
• Deliver, review, and update technical documentation.
• Provide professional technical advice and customer follow-ups.
• Promote a positive, energetic, and motivated workplace culture.
• Provide excellent customer service, develop, and maintain client relationships whilst dealing with any client concerns or complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key and existing customers.
• Work with the Managing Director to identify, implement and build on existing solutions.
• Provide reports to the Managing director.

The remuneration package will be based on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.

Skills and Experience –

To be successful you will be required to have the following essential attributes and experience:

• Bachelor of engineering Mechatronics, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role.
• Expertise in control / building systems.
• Expertise in IT networks, (wired, wireless)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Java, node-red, Python, PowerShell).
• Strong understanding of database management systems, including SQL and Oracle.
• Good understanding of building protocols, ( e.g , KNX, BACnet, Modbus, MQTT.)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/innovative approach to problems and opportunities.
• High level written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills 
• Read & understand electrical drawings and documents.
• Good understanding of commercial contracts.
• Ability to learn & understand new things.
