Translates the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for complex solutions and integrating architecture. Work is evaluated upon delivery completion to ensure objectives have been met. Determines and develops approach to complex client solutions.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Establishes requirements meetings and design programs for complex systems, applications or process design projects.
Completes all phases of complex systems integration design projects.
Analyzes best approach to solving systems, applications or process design problems (innovation vs. re-use) including best fit solution to customer requirements.
Provides direction for design activities and presenting to clients.
Leads presentation of solutions to customers and internal audiences. Takes part in presentations to influence customers and market in pre-tender phase.
Assists in negotiations with customers in pre-sales phase.
Leads negotiations with third party suppliers and in supplier selection process.
Exercises independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Work independently or with others to deliver the technical project work to completion and customer satisfaction.
May influences the activities of junior level personnel (exempt professional and non-exempt).
Networks with senior, internal and external, personnel in own area of expertise. Frequent inter- organizational and outside customer contacts
Qualifications:
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline required.
8+ years of engineering experience
Strong knowledge on IT Networking
Strong report and presentation skills
Strong Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to enter, analyse, and understand multi-faceted systems and/or problems
Able to formulate designs, ideas, processes and procedures that solve problems, improve targets and achieve goals.
Ability to work primarily independently, but also as a team
Experience in any of Zebra’s products.
Experience with ZPL II
Programming experience with languages such as Python, Java, etc
Android Application development experience
