Takeaway Cashier - Senior Role

The Grounds of Alexandria Cafe are looking for a casual takeaway attendant who is a motivated and passionate customer service focused individual to join our team. As our senior takeaway attendant, you will be the first point of contact for some of our guests, and therefore, your exceptional customer service, communication and interpersonal skills will be critical to the success of delivering service with efficiency and consistency, in a friendly and polite manner.

You will be well versed in working in a fast paced environment, and possess the ability to multi-task, while ensuring that our guest experience is maximised. There should be no task you view with greater significance than the sound of your customers feedback.

Key Skills

Must have:

• Strong experience operating a cash register/ POS in a fast paced environment
• Available early morning .
• Ability to work well independently, and in a team
• Efficient time management skills
• Ability to manage conflicting demands
• Minimum 5 years in a customer service role required
• Experience resolving customer complaints and making quick decisions

 Experience

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a fast paced and heavy volume restaurant/venue. It would suit someone wanting to work around school hours/ kids / family commitments or just looking to get back into the workforce after parental leave.
