Hy-Tec currently has an opportunity for an experienced Multi-Combination (MC) licenced Driver primarily working out of our Smeaton Grange site. This role will support the site by providing relief shift cover driving B-Double Tankers, Tippers along with our Agitator trucks as and when required.
In this role you will be responsible for the loading and delivery of raw materials used in the production of concrete and aggregates to multiple sites within the surrounding area, as well as for vehicle upkeep.
In this position you will meet a diverse group of people and you will be given the responsibility and autonomy to ensure that our raw materials are delivered safely, effectively, and efficiently.
We will train you in all facets of being a competent driver, meaning that this is a great opportunity to expand your driving experience in a secure industry.

To apply you must already hold a MC licence and have at least 12 months driving experience in multi/heavy combination vehicles.
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays as and when required. Shift work will also be required.
Responsibilities
- Load and deliver raw materials to company sites
- Ensure safety, health & environment standards are maintained
- Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and mass management requirements
- Complete basic documentation
- Maintain professional customer relationships
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean and tidy condition
What you will need to succeed
- Current MC drivers’ licence and be able to provide driver licence history check - essential
- A reliable team player attitude with a focus on customer service
- Strong work ethic and sense of integrity to allow you to work independently
- Previous tipper and tanker experience advantageous but not required
- Relevant building/concrete industry experience advantageous but not required
