Tarpaulin Manufacturer

Paxford Canvas Products in Mount Gambier require a Full time Tarpaulin Manufacturer for an immediate start. Hours required Monday to Thursday 8 am to 4.30 pm, Friday 8 am to 2.30 pm. Hours are negotiable. 

The role:

• Main job duty is manufacturing or repairing of tarps and other canvas products using a heat welder as well as other industrial sewing machine equipment. 
• Job is in separate tarp room to isolate the dirt and grime from truck tarps. 
• Must be able to do heavy lifting and work independently with little supervision.
• Safe use of machinery for cutting, power tools, connecting and bonding materials. 
• Working as part of a team. 
• Maintaining high quality standards, inspecting work and meeting project completion deadlines.

Essential:

• Attention to detail. 
• Good communication skills. 
• Ability to maintain a clean, tidy and organized work space. 
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and develop skills with continuous on the job training.

On the job training provided so NO experience necessary.
