RevenueSA has the following roles available:

Contact Centre staff will:

  • Contribute to the achievement of RevenueSA’s taxation objectives
  • Provide RevenueSA customers with a first contact point via telephone and other contact channels
  • Perform a range of administrative tasks
  • Receive cross-skilling and training opportunities

Assessment Team staff will:

  • Contribute to the achievement of RevenueSA’s taxation objectives
  • Perform a range of complex administrative tasks
  • Determine exemption / concession applications
  • Provide timely and accurate advice
  • Receive cross-skilling and training opportunities

To be successful in the roles, you will preferably have:

  • Competent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to customer service, considering customer needs, manage difficult situations in a calm, positive and objective manner.
  • Multi-tasking capability, ability to undertake diverse tasks and prioritise administration tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge and understanding of office administration practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Experience with using multiple systems
  • Experience in data processing and data entry

Roles will be offered at either the AS02 or AS03 classification based on the skills and experience of the recommended applicants.

Special Conditions:
This is a term vacancy up to 31 December 2024 with possible extension.

If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check, which has been issued within six months of your application for the role. National Police Checks can be applied for via the South Australia Police or through an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission accredited body.

The incumbent will be required to:

  • participate in the Departmental Performance Management Program
  • undertake a General Probity Screening check, and
  • may be required to be assigned to other positions at the same remuneration level across the department.

Remuneration (adjusted accordingly to hours worked):
ASO2 - $57 842 p.a. min - $62 221 p.a. max
ASO3 - $66 590 p.a. min - $70 968 p.a. max
