Haileybury Rendall School is seeking a Teacher's Assistant - Indigenous Education. This is a fulltime, permanent position commencing January 2023.
The primary role of the Teacher’s Assistant is to support the needs of individual students
requiring adjustments to access the curriculum and to make themselves and the students they are assisting, a part of the whole class setting rather than an isolated unit within the classroom.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Must have experience working with children
- Demonstrated knowledge of working with students with individual needs
- Verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Time-management skills
- Experience of working with children from a culturally and/or Linguistically diverse
General Information:
- Recognised appropriate teaching assistant qualifications
- Working with Children Check Card (Ochre)
