The RoleWorking from our Alanvale Campus, the Teacher/
Associate Teacher - Metals Fabrication/Welding will deliver training and assessment for Certificate II and Certificate III in Metal, Fabrication, and Welding, primarily through face-to-face teaching supplemented by practical workshop sessions.On any given day, your duties will include:
- Teaching and inspiring the next generation of tradespeople
- Supporting students on campus and in their workplace
- Managing and co-ordinating teaching & assessment materials & resources
- Providing advice and information to students, parents and employers
- Enjoying eleven weeks of leave per year!
What will you bring- Must hold a current Certificate III in Engineering or equivalent
- Must have prior experience in welding as per Australian standards
- Have used the following processes previously - GMAW, MMAW, GTAW, FCAW
- A minimum of five years of experience post apprenticeship completion is desirable
- A current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement
