Rockingham Senior High School (SHS) is seeking to appoint a passionate and innovative Netball teacher who is responsive to change and can cater for the learning styles of future-ready students. As the school is a Tier 2 Netball WA accredited Specialist School the successful applicant will ideally possess an intermediate or higher coaching accreditation from Netball WA.
The successful applicant would collaboratively work with all members of the school and wider community to provide quality educational experiences through promoting the school's vision and strategic directions. Specifically, you will ideally be student and relationship focussed, be able to provide engaging and meaningful learning.
The successful applicant should possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide students with the highest quality curriculum delivery and programs within the Netball context. You would have thorough understandings of instructional and curriculum design whilst keeping abreast of the latest focus areas and developments within the Learning Area.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.
