SalaryBaldivis Secondary College (SC) is seeking a highly professional, passionate, and innovative Home Economics Teacher to join our innovative Technologies team.
As the successful applicant you will teach across a range of Home Economics subject areas and have experience in delivering Vocational Education and Training programs. Holding a Certificate II in Family and Children’s Services and/or Hospitality and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment will be highly regarded.
The successful applicant will ideally be student and relationship focused, highly motivated, innovative and able to work effectively in a team environment. They will ideally possess an engaging and energetic teaching style, promoting an environment of active and positive learning in their classroom. The successful applicant should be committed to providing high quality learning opportunities and activities for all students, enabling each of them to make connections with the ‘real world’ and develop the skills needed to be successful at school and in the future.
Our college-wide implementation of Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID’s) proven instructional methodologies and content area best practices underpin our commitment to improving outcomes for all students. Our entire Instructional staff utilise AVID strategies, and 21st century tools to ensure post-school readiness and improved academic performance for all students.
