About the role
We are seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) students!
We currently have one (1) Permanent Full Time opportunity available at our Deniliquin campus, with some travel to Finley and Hay as required.
You will help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. In addition, you will facilitate learning by delivering world-class educational programs, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes. In your next role, you will:
· Teach students face-to-face in classrooms and online
· Issue, mark and provide comprehensive feedback on assessments
· Undertake student administration, including marking registers and recording results
· Maintain relationships with local industry professionals and employers
About You
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Qualifications in:
• A recognised* Bachelor degree (AQF 7) in education, with a TESOL major OR
• A recognised* Bachelor degree (AQF 7) + a postgraduate qualification (AQF 8 or higher) in TESOL OR
• A recognised* Graduate Diploma or higher + a postgraduate qualification (AQF 8 or higher) in TESOL
* From an accredited Australian Higher Education Institution, or a qualification recognised as equivalent to the stated AQF level or higher by the Australian Government Country Education Profiles (CEPs) tool
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in teaching.
- Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
- Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
