Job DescriptionMGGS seeks knowledgeable, innovative and engaging educator to join the collaborative team in our English Faculty as a Teacher of English for Semester 2 2024 and Semester 1 2025. The successful candidate will be required to teach English across Years 7 - 11 and will possess a deep understanding of contemporary pedagogical approaches for English teaching. They will enjoy working with colleagues in delivering curriculum design and a range of co-curricular activities and wellbeing initiatives.As the successful candidate, you are passionate about the future for young people, you believe in every student's capacity to achieve at a high level, and you have a demonstrated capacity to engage and motivate students. You have a talent for curriculum design and an understanding of targeted feedback and the importance of designing complex and high-quality formative and summative assessments.We value candidates with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative disposition who prioritise the relationships they build with their students and colleagues.
