TAFE NSW are seeking Teachers of Project Management to join our team on a temporary basis. TAFE NSW are embarking on a new era as we focus on routinely refreshing our courses to meet evolving industry expectations and regulatory standards, and our teaching practices are enriched to embrace learner-centric outcomes.
The role requires you to deliver online only for learners who complete their studies at their own pace. You will need to be available to support students through their online learning journey.
The location is at Strathfield or in the TAFE NSW North Region. Preferred campuses in the North Region are Forster, Tuncurry, or Coffs Harbour (subject to campus availability).
About You
You will be committed to keeping industry relevant and current to ensure your students are prepared to meet the demands of this engaging industry.
Student outcomes are about more than the course material, industry current equipment and having a great teacher. To succeed in the role, you can maintain your professionalism whilst building an approachable and personable rapport with your cohort of students.
As we equip our people with the tools to provide an innovative educational experience, you will need strong digital literacy capabilities to evolve with this changing learning landscape.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Minimum of Diploma (or above) in Project Management
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment TAE40116 or equivalent
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in the Project Management industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
- Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
