Somerville House is a day and boarding school for girls established in 1899, providing exceptional education for students from Prep through to Year 12, with a co-educational Pre-Prep offering. We are seeking to appoint highly motivated and inspiring Teacher of Visual Art to work collaborative within the Somerville House Art Department on a permanent full-time basis, commencing as negotiated (February 2024 commencement would be preferred).
Our ideal candidate will have taught Visual Art across the Senior School, with excellent knowledge of, and experience with the QCAA and Australian Curriculum for Visual Art.
Whilst maintaining a high standard of learning and teaching, the Teacher of Visual Art will be a collaborative, innovative and future-focused colleague.

It is a mandatory requirement to hold the appropriate tertiary qualifications and current Queensland Teacher Registration (QCT).
Employment Classification
The salary and conditions of employment for Academic staff are in accordance with the Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association (PMSA) Enterprise Agreement 2021, as varied or replaced from time-to-time.
