Vale View State School is located around 10kms southwest of Toowoomba (pop-170,000) where you'll find a vibrant cultural, dining and entertainment scene, beautiful parks and gardens. The locality is home to several families on acreage and families who enjoy the personalised sharing, caring family nature of our school. This delightful school is set on the edge of the western escarpment with beautiful views to the west. You'll be a pleasant 50 minutes' drive south to the large historic town of Warwick, or 90 minutes from Brisbane on the Warrego Highway.
Vale View State School is a growing 4 teacher school approximately 10 minutes from Toowoomba.
Currently in 2023, we have 80 students and 4 full-time teachers as well as a principal and learning support teacher. Our classes are Prep, Years 1/2, Years 3/4 and Years 5/6. Vale View staff are committed to meeting the needs of all students through strong curriculum and pedagogical practices and focused analysis of student progress, all within the context of a supportive small school environment.

Applicants for these positions must possess:

Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
