Parkes High School (enrolment 564 students, including 26% Aboriginal students) is proudly a NSW Department of Education comprehensive secondary school that provides education to an expanding rural community in the central west of NSW. Parkes High School also offers a range of Vocational Education and Training courses delivered across the school.
Approval to teach Special Education and/or demonstrated experience teaching students with additional learning needs: including autism, emotional disturbance and mild intellectual disabilities, behaviour disorders and other complex learning needs.
Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and monitor personalised learning plans, behaviour support plans, health care plans and other plans to support individual student needs.
Well developed interpersonal and team skills with the ability to work collaboratively with families, external agencies and a large teaching team to support the diverse learning needs of students.
The successful applicant may be eligible to receive a one-off recruitment payment of $20,000. (Conditions apply).
