Tweed Heads South Public School has an enrolment of 167 students, 41% identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and 6.6% identify as English as an additional language or dialect, MC Support Class, onsite DoE preschool and recently completed school rebuild.

- Approval to teach special education and/or extensive experience teaching students with complex needs such as mild/moderate intellectual disabilities,Physical Disability, autism, mental health, health care needs and challenging behaviours.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment, through the implementation of quality differentiated curriculum, including the development and review of student personalised learning and support plans, transition plans and behaviour plans that impact positively on student engagement.
- Highly developed organisational, communication and interpersonal skills that contribute to a culture of inclusivity with proven ability to work collaboratively and establish effective partnerships with parents, colleagues, therapists and support agencies to achieve improved outcomes for students.
- Demonstrated capacity to implement effective evidence based student well-being strategies which promote engagement and contribute to productive and safe learning environments.
